Today I went to an Easter thingy with my family… overall it wasn’t bad but fuck anyone who says it’s not lady-like to bust your beer open with a lighter! YOU CAN’T PUT A GENDER ON BADASSERY!!

So I just had an AMAZING two day date with M… swoonfest <3

She came to see me in Oakland to kick it awhile and eat nachos before we headed to the Piedmont Springs where a private outdoor hot tub was reserved for us. After soaking for an hour we headed back to my place, fixed our hair, and changed for our reservation at Haven in Jack London Square. Holy shit… one of the best meals of my life… and they had a whiskey shelf as long as the damn bar.

We returned to my place, I packed, and we headed to hers in Concord where we watched Arrested Development and played with her other lover’s dog (such a sweet animal!) before falling asleep in a pile of bliss.

We awoke the next day, picking up where we had left off. Eventually, hunger set in and we ventured to Los Panchos for massive burritos covered in enchilada sauce. Our meal finished, we drove down the road to visit my friend, Emma, who was working at Plato’s Closet, a used clothing store.

M and I walked down the aisles, perusing the wares. Mostly what happened was M ended up using me as a life size dress up doll… it was amazing <3 I walked out with two overflowing bags of new clothes!

We returned to her place where we played with makeup (I got experimental with her face… it didn’t work out :/) and giggled at each other like little school girls…

I love her sooooo much <3

OOTD/MOTD

It’s been awhile! School is hectic and all that drama with the death threats made things even worse. However, things are getting back to normal :)

So… friends and readers will know that I have serious issues with self-hate especially in reference to my appearance. It’s reaaaally hard for me to believe anyone when they say I’m beautiful.

With that in mind, I’ve been working to see it myself. Sometimes I see it for a second; a flash of self-love where the image in the mirror shifts and I see a gorgeous woman standing there… things are getting better. This last week, I either wore solely mascara or no makeup at all and it’s really been helping me… recognizing that my face doesn’t need to be covered or adjusted to be beautiful; it already is <3
